1 Point Perspective Drawing!
This is my 1 point perspective drawing. In class we were assigned to draw a 1 point perspective picture off of a picture reference of a 1 point perspective photo. We were given 3 class periods to work on this project. I chose to draw Times Square in New York City. I chose this because I love cities and I really enjoyed New York when I went there a few years ago. In my drawing I think that I did a good job shading and making the buildings go towards the vanishing point. I wanted to make sure my shading was good in my drawing because the picture was took at night. My favorite part of this drawing was drawing the Lion King musical ad on the side of the building because I liked the movie, it was fun to draw, and it is an ad I remember seeing a lot when I went to New York. I think to make my drawing better I would have added more detail to my drawing and chose a better vanishing point. I really enjoyed this drawing and I think that I did a good job with it. Thank you.
