Luke Weckel

This is my self portrait. In class we had to look into a mirror and draw ourselves. Prior to drawing our self portraits, in class we learned how to draw a mouth, eyes, nose, ears, eye brows, eye lashes, hair, and where everything is placed and how to find out how to place the features. I thing I did a good job on my eyes, neck, and hair because I think I did a good job emphasizing the details in those parts with my lines. Also, if I could change anything I would have shaded my background darker, spent more time on my shirt, and made the outlines of my lips and head darker We were given 3 class periods to draw this drawing with a good value scale and apply what we learned in class to our drawing. Finally, I think I did a good job on my drawing.
