Luke Weckel

For this project we were supposed to choose 3 items and draw them. We were supposed to present height of the bases, shading, composition, and perspective. We had 3 class periods to work on this which was about 3 and a half hours. I changed my composition to what my drawing in the picture below looks like because I thought it worked the best for the objects I chose. I chose to draw a small milk jug because I like to drink milk and chocolate milk is one of my favorite drinks, I chose one of my vans shoes because I like to wear vans shoes and I enjoy skateboarding and vans are a skateboard shoe, and I chose my sketch book because I really enjoy drawing. I think I did a good job with my drawing. I think my shading was good. Also, I believe I did good with making a good composition and my height of the bases to get a good perspective. To make my items look more three dimensional I made sure to add a good light source and make my shading good. Also, I wanted to make sure I did a good job on the shoe because the shoe was my favorite part to draw and I made sure I got the lighting good on the shoe to make it look more realistic. If I was to make anything better in my drawing I would make me lines of the milk jug darker. I would also darken my horizon line. Then, I would make my background shaded darker then the table.
